In June, Bill and Shannon said “I do” during their wedding ceremony at Saratoga National Golf Club in Saratoga Springs, NY and it was absolutely perfect! I’d have to say that it was truly magical.

They got ready in the heart of Saratoga Springs at The Saratoga Hilton on Broadway and at the Hampton Inn and Suites. Even though it was a bit of a rainy day, Bill and Shannon didn’t let that stop them from having the wedding day of their dreams! Really, the weather doesn’t matter that much anyway when you’re marrying your best friend!

Having your wedding in Upstate NY is always a great choice as there are so many stunning locations to have your first look, bridal portraits, and ceremony. Bill and Shannon chose to have their first look at the beautiful Yaddo Gardens, and since it was mid June, the rose gardens were in their peak! Needless to say, their first look images at the Yaddo Gardens turned out breathtaking! There are no words to describe how gorgeous Shannon looked in her wedding dress from Lily Saratoga. It was the perfect choice dress for her and her first look on the stairs.

After their private first look, we headed over to where the rest of their wedding day would happen: Saratoga National Golf Club in Saratoga Springs, NY. Saratoga National was the perfect venue for Bill and Shannon! It matched their wedding vibe perfectly!

Due to the weather, we had the ceremony inside. It was still beautiful as the couple stood in front of the very impressively huge windows that overlooked the beautiful golf courses. We were so excited to be able to go out and get some great shots later on in the day on the beautiful greens!

Walking into the reception, you would have swore you were walking right into a fairy tale. That’s how Bill and Shannon felt as they walked in and saw the beautiful handiwork of their caterer, Mazzone Hospitality, and their florist, Flowers by Pesha. It was fit for royalty!

Finally, it was time to get the parTAY started!!! Thanks to the amazingly talented Funk Evolution live band, the reception was a huge, fun, crazy success!! Live bands are always a lot of fun to have play at receptions!! I can’t recommend Funk Evolution enough!!! They kept the party going strong for hours!!!

Overall, looking back at Bill and Shannon’s wedding, I’d have to say, it’s a wedding day I’d love to relive over and over with them! It was my honor to capture all the special moments of Bill and Shannon’s wedding day! Being their wedding photographer was my privilege!
